Bunch o' chiptune-y sounding Pico-8 songs made on the Pico-8 (what else?) anywhere from now to around early 2020. Ordered chronologically. Most are pretty short, some of them are even kinda good. (I said kinda, don't get your hopes up.)
My first Pico-8 song. Chill attempt at a basic theme song.

My first "song" song (in that it starts with a buildup and is more than just one tune) and the first track I was actually proud of a little. Kind of earwormy.
I was bored so I made a song. Story of my life, basically. Yet another "song" song. I quite like it compared to Tension Release or the un-sang Puzzletest (don't worry, you ain't missing much) but I've made songs that I was more proud of.

It's name_v2, again. Was bored and had some ideas bouncing around and inspiration, so I dug up the old sound file from way back in the very beginning of 2022 and began to reconstruct it in Pico-8.
We do be rockin it anyway doe. Made in almost precisely one hour. Pretty nice for its composition time. Might be my new favorite even tbh
Nice little song, bassline makes me think of Receiver 2 ost which is fine since this music is meant to have a more controlled, less all at once feeling. Still has some nice climax action tho
Song made in rougly 45 mins for Traumatized Edgeworth's 1 hr music competition. Scored 5th place. Listen, the competition was rough.
Tension release but a lot better. It's kinda FUCKING LOUD but it's not bad I guess? Might use it somewhere, not sure yet.
I covered the Tetris theme, if you've heard Tetris Ultimate's track 1 then you can probably guess that I really liked it.

I just randomly freestyle hummed a few tunes and spontaneously decided to plot them in Pico-8. And thus, this was birthed unto the universe. That's basically how they're all made, if you couldn't tell. teehee :3
Same story as prev, but this time I recreated the 2A03's charmingly flawed triangle wave, which can be heard in the bassline. I'm pretty sure I like this one more than the one I made yesterday. Either way, it feels great to get back to making music again.
This song does in fact contain harmony. Kinda like it. Might use it to absolutely destroy my hearing. Made in a very short timeframe.

My favorite song from the game, for sure. I also really like the mansion theme and apartment theme, but I just felt like making this one. (Plus, the purr track in the latter gives me some undesired associated memories. Whatever.) Hopefully this cover brings the lovely liveliness of the original song to mind, at a few moments this song uses six channels, which might be the most I've ever had to do. It even uses 62 of the 64 available sounds and 46 of the 64 available patterns.
This isn't just a cover of Fallen Down, this is Fallen Meown. I made it using a sample of my girlfriend meowing, and it was made in MilkyTracker unlike the rest of these.
